"Each day, nearly 1,000 children die due to preventable water and sanitation-related diarrhoeal diseases"
- United Nations

The simple act of hand washing can prevent so many of these deaths. And that's what this sock, the Soap sock, is all about

    Our Partner Organisation

To bring you the Soap Sock we have partnered with Soap Aid.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Soap Aid aims to improve the health outcomes for children in need while reducing local landfill and waste.

Soap Aid collects the soap from hotels across Australia and New Zealand, and recycles them into new bars of soap. These new bars of soap are distributed to children and communities in Australia and overseas to prevent the spread of hygiene related illnesses.

If you want to know more about what they do, you can find their website here.

    The sock

This sock is all about hygiene and sanitation, both of which are represented by the rubber ducks and bubbles. The light blue represents the colour of Sustainable Development Goal 6, the focus of this sock, while the orange represents Soap Aid, our amazing partner organisation.
